The Mystery of the Church

Much like Peter, we don't quit on Jesus or even ministry yet by way of disappointment and her offspring restlessness. Inevitably, we move away from the radical obedience, dependence and the bold faith that so characterized the earliest days of our leadership journey. When you were naive enough to believe those people were telling you the truth, you were ready to take the city. My God, God's going to give us the city. We're going to be meeting in the civic center in the next six months. I can feel it. Don't just get the first love feeling back. Get the first love fire to believe from right here God can do anything.
