The Paradox of Contraception
Contraception was supposed to be a boon to family life. Instead, we know now exactly the opposite happened. Rates of abortion skyrocketed. Broken homes did too. And single parent homes brought on by broken families proliferated. None of this was expected in the early days of the birth control pill. The reason is that as of contraception, there is no more social pressure on men to take responsibility for unplanned pregnancy.
