The Kirsk and the Dummy Torpedoes
Dmitrii was in charge of the seventh compartment on board the kirsk submarine. He and his men were preparing to fire two dummy torpedoes during a training exercise. Suddenly, one of the real torpedoes malfunctioned but did not puncture through its walls. Dmitri sealed off both water tight doors leading into their compartments as an emergency measure.
