When Money Comes Up in a Job Search, What Do You Coach Your Clients to Do?

Talking about money is a taboo topic for many people. When it comes to compensation negotiation, i find that a lot of people don't negotiate - especially women and people of color. I have to remind them that this is a business transaction. If a client's not willing to pay what the project costs, then you don't want to work with them like by. It was sooper helpful for me to practise in my consulting job, which just made me a lot happier with the people i worked with. And practising that overtime made it easier.
