Shane Borsma: I'm on my first read through of Plato's Republic, which is kind of like the seminal work. Can we sit in the implications of that for a moment? And here's my question. How do you think that claim strikes the average evangelical's ears? He says if there's any truth in pagan philosophy, that truth must ultimately be biblical truth. The aim with the maxim is to say, we want to uphold Scripture, but in order to do that, you're going to need metaphysics.
