The Winch Cat Groomer

One night I was assigned the run to get thunder out of the way first since it's my least favorite run and I wanted to get it over with before I got tired. It took me a solid five minutes of walking around outside to even find the winch anchor and the tree line. The most shocking thing for me though was what had caused this whole thing in the first place. The large 8 inch metal pipe that the winch anchors to had somehow broken free of the concrete that it sunk into and ripped its way out of the ground. Needless to say after that experience I spent the rest of the winter on the less steep runs where you don't need a winch cat or snowmobile
