The Anti-Democracy Movement
Radical libertarians do not try to make any sort of argument that some pure form of capitalism is real democracy. These these figures are resolutely and explicitly anti-democratic. But they argue, I think, for some particular vision of freedom that one expresses their preferences by exit rather than voice or vote. We sometimes think of bourgeois democracy as capitalism's natural form of governance. Your book strongly suggests that this is not always the case.
