This would you know dramatically decrease security in Bitcoin and potentially reduce confidence in Bitcoin now there is a nuclear option that I haven't seen many people talk about but I think is a really important thing to think about. If Bitcoin's proof of work function were to change all of those computers all those a six would be rendered obsolete instantly.
