The Risks and Opportunities of Generative AI in Banking

We're seeing opportunity and potential platform shift that we haven't seen in a long time. Regulation can put us where we need to be if we have the strength to put it in place. All the leading AI labs know they're creating something dangerous but none of them really want to stop it. The impact on jobs is real but it doesn't have a super intelligence that will have a mind of its own. It's on all of us and particularly investors to think about the questions and the potential falls as well as the opportunity and value it creates.
