Is There a World War Too?

Every major conflict like that saw the scurrying of rats in the background, operating for their own self interest. This one is different because it appears to me as though the opportunity itself is driving the conflictthe the rats are running the show now and we are just agreeing to go along with em. That's what it looks like to me. In others, people creating this situation for that purpose, not benefiting from a bigger situation that was created for something else. What do you think?
