How to Write a Scene Description for a Movie or TV Commercial?

I find that I since directing more than writing my scene descriptions have gotten really sterile in a way that I have to actually work against. It's just it becomes a blueprint and there's no poetry to it. So internal stuff tends to be the thing that is hard for people to wrap their heads around. And once you are shooting, you realize, ah, dang, I know what I meant, but none of my crew does.
