What Is the Important Thing About Bacon?
Pauper's theory is her of conjectures and refutation. Each futation gives you a way of getting conjectures, which are coherent wholes. Bacon says that if you construct your problems properly, then a unique solution becomes the only way you can solve it. The main difficulty for coherent theories of truth o coherence theories of belief is that coherence is not unique. But in bacon's case, he says, you constructit in such a way that your theories are unique, uniquely true.
