Pericaditis - What to Look for in a Pericarditis Patient

The vast majority of patients that we see with pericarditus are going to be viral slash idiopathic. High fever, if they haven't responded a to therapy ovr the last week or so is an indication for admission. Persistent chest pain for weeks on end is not typical for a c s e or dissection,. mor thorax and should raise suspicion for Pericarditus.
