Dishwasher Salt Helps Water Rinse Off the Dishes

The sodium in dishwasher salt combines with resin balls in your dishwasher's workings to absorb the hardness of the water. Lime scales can clog up the insides of your dishwasher and are bad for marine life - so use eco-friendly detergents instead.
