All Europe didn't exist in isolation from the world around it. The people of old Europe were farmers who herded sheep, goats and cattle. By about 4,200 BC, some steppe people had started to domesticate and ride horses. This was a pretty dang transformative thing for reasons that we'll talk about in much greater detail on next episode.
