How to Find Secrets to Build Successful Startups
When you look historically at what kind of companies have won and where the initial idea comes from, there are not so many different ways in which these ideas can emerge. Most of these other things are a lot of randomness, there's a lot of trial and error. So you have to uncover these, I think Peter Teal calls them the secrets, right? You have to find a secret and finding secrets is not trivial, which is why building successful startups is not trivial. That's the beauty of theory versus practice, right? It can be very theoretical about all the things you do, but until you're actually there executing and you come across these secrets, then that's when the opportunity
