Before the Victorian age women were seen as sexually impure. Now perhaps for the first time in history women are given this moral high ground that we are the moral creatures and that men need to listen to us. With that their voice, their demands become conditional on this moral respectability never build your skyscrapers on foundations like that Never make your worth your respectability conditional on something as superficial as your oddly modesty.
