The Trinitor Test and the Nuclear Age

The Trinity nuclear test in New Mexico prompted decades of questions. The National Cancer Institute tried to assess whether the test could have caused cancers, but it was impossible for them to pinpoint exact numbers. Tina says that as she got older, every time she visited home, she noticed more and more people were sick. She co-founded an organization with Fred Tyler called the Tula Rosa Basin Down Winders Consortium. Her group created a health survey and distributed it to hundreds of people in the counties around the Trinity site.
