Are There Any Traces of Pastoral Activity in North Karnataka?

Archaeologists are trying to work out what pastoral activity is going on in Karnataka, India. How do you spot it? It's a question that many archaeologists have been investigating for the last 20 years or so. I was going to ask, actually, you're saying you're moving into looking at pastoral work.How do you see any traces of that? I mean, the sheep and the goats, they come and then they go and they don't leave pottery and footprint stone lost.
