The Superstructure Is Just Illusion
E was enthralled by evolutionary theory, loved darwin and all that. And he had committed his entire being to this concept of fitness. He took himself to have escaped from all the false symbolisms of human culture. So it's like somehow it's more fit to wear drab colors than to wear bright colors. It's morefit to have a brief case than to wear a back pack. You could almost not really talk to him about anything else or he couldn't really talk in any other mode.
