Introduction
The concluding chapters of amos contain a series of visions, beginning here in seven. This chapter gives the first three of the five visions and the narrative of a confrontation that amos had with amaziah, a priest at bethel. The high places of isaac shall be made desolate, and the sanctuaries of israel shall be laid waste,. And i will rise against the house of jeroboam with the sword. Amos, chapter seven.
