The Indictment of Donald Trump
There are four charges and they all relate to attempts to overturn the 2020 election. Some of them specifically about what happened on January the 6th, whether or not Donald Trump inspired people to go up there. The fourth one is actually a very, very old statute that goes way back to attempts to protect black people's rights to vote after slavery had been abolished. And it's basically saying that when Trump and his co-conspirators were trying to get the states to overturn their results he falsely said that Donald Trump, not Joe Biden, had one say in some cases.
