The Principle Contradiction

The principal contradiction is exactly what it sounds like, the primary contradiction. Mao explains that there are many contradictions in the development of a complex thing. To fail to grasp this principal contradiction means almost by definition, one will fail to resolve the secondary or subordinate contradictions. Being able to distinguish between the principal and subordinate contradictions is a skill communist must sharpen.
