E had hit in the yucatan peninsula, ri which is in mexico. That's faster than the speed of sound, right? That's superfast. And it would have caused incredible shock waves. It was an enormous, devastating impact and delivered an incredible amount of energy to the atmosphere and also to the surface of the earth itself.
