i am not a statistician. I am mostly self taught out of practicality, so inevitably, i'll probably get something wrong. But we could just consider this as a apragmatic view of obasing statistics from an experimental physicis type perspective. For me, it all started in maybe my third year of graduate school. And esentially i spent the first cupleo years of graduate school studying a problem. That's something that comes up for us a lot with highly integrated data. There are systems that we study that you cannot get an answer unless it's formulated in a particular fashion.
