How to Engage Cricketers in a Live Environment

Cricket is about recreating the game. And I find a lot of early coaches and junior coaches really struggle with how to engage everybody. We're almost putting boundaries on ourselves and our design based on what cricket should look like rather than maintaining the relationships that we want them to experience while they're out there. Yeah, it's a good point. It's interesting from a decision making perspective that people tend to lose as well because often the activity is in a constrained environment That pretty much only involves the dynamic between boulder and batter. But more importantly, the fielders never really get an opportunity to practice fielding in a live environment. So you've got to make their own decisions.
