It's so serel to be at sea for 24 days every day. Your horizon is 360 degrees and it's nothing but flat water. On that entire trip, we only saw one other boat the entire time,. We are all alone in our little world. When you get close to land, after being at sea for so long, your senses are different. So before we even saw land, we could smell land. And what you smell are the fires thof people burn and things like that. Very magical place. Fatu hiva not that different than the san blas in the sense of you've got a lot of people in a very remote area. No tourists ever go there.
