The Importance of Time Pressure in Painting
I'm not worried because I feel like it'll all work out. But I do keep looking at them thinking, I wish you would just tell me what you want to be so that we could get on with it. It's difficult, isn't it? Because you can't always create the exact circumstances and situation. You have to go through these ups and downs and let the painting surprise you along the way. And if you're in a bit of a hurry or you feel as if you’re in a lot of a hurry, that's a hard thing to do. So are you working on more presumably than you actually need to finish?
