The Conflicts of Rights of Way in the UK

In the uk if there's a path going through it the public has a fundamental right to walk across it and you can't say get off my land i own the land. I think maybe some of these platforms like facebook and twitter we're almost getting to a situation where you need to treat them almost like the uk has public rights of way. There are conflicting values here of should companies be able to do what they want with their property yes right should people be able to express themselves even if they express ideas that not everybody likes?
