The Three Requirements of a Successful Personal Knowledge Management System
For me, there's three main requirements for any knowledge management system. The first is that you can capture it, that you can gather it and put it into a repository. The next requirement is to curate. Just because you collect it doesn't mean that you really want to keep it forever. Finally, it's got to be searchable or you're not going to take the time to do it.
