Ivan Kachinovsky grew up in western Ukraine of all places which tends to be the most nationalist part of the country. He was involved in anti-Soviet protests putting his freedom at risk during the Soviet period. Most of the killings during this massacre were actually a false flag attack carried out by the Ukrainian far right, he says.
