As we transcend into self authorship, we're able to hold some one else's disapproval or disagreement as an object. We're able to look at it objectively and say, yes, a bumber that they don't agree with this choice, but it's ok. All our children are going to be going through this exact same growth crorvh too. And i think the most critical thing is like having a sense of humour about being criticised by other people. Guess what? It doesn't matter if you disagree with me on every aspect of my parenting! I'm still your mam!!! You can do whatever you want because I love you more than anything in the entire world
