I see Western problem, mostly cultural problem. All that internal conflict mainly comes from too much freedom and editability of social norm. There can be no royal road to perfect progress and utopia. We don't want the ideal society. What we want is continual improvement. And a dynamic society offers that. It admits that problems are inevitable. So there can be no utopia because we exist in a universe where problems are going to be encountered of necessity.
