Women's Emotions Are Out of the Workplace

Leaders of both genders benefit from a genuine display of emotion. Jessie was upset with herself after one of her direct reports made a mistake that was going to create a big ripple with another department. She thought i said, jessie, you're allowed to have feelings. They're as authentic as any other part of you. It's not what i intend. I'm sorry if i look angry. That's authentic because it's so high in self awareness.
