Savarkar's Dissatisfaction With the Hindu Mahasabha

He never really had much of a problem with the Hindu Mahasabha as an organization. But he had a problem in using religion for electoral politics. That is why the clash with the Subash Bose and Mukherjee and Savarkar happened. He said that you cannot use religion for election purposes. We, of course, there are communal issues. There are communities. And their welfare have to be looked after. But not in this manner. Don't bring religion into politics.
