What Attracted You to the Punk Scene?

I'm curious what it was that attracted you about punk ethics particularly. I always had this idea ofo trying to live a good life, and i thought maybe religions had the key to that er. The cold war had gotten to such a point that i was convinced at the time that the world would no longer be here by the year 20 22. And i think a lot of my life decisions were based on the idea that, well, they're going to blow everything up before 19 90, or whatever.
