The Importance of Moral Value in Comedy

Comedians seem like at the moment they're under a lot of threat. If we think about Chris Rock getting slapped on a stage, Dave Chappelle and Clamless stage try to beat him up. It seems like comedians are now in this space where they want to be able to say certain things. Do we need to change the culture around how people receive comedy so that you can say, "People should be able to make mistakes?"
