Adele's Singing of the Word I

The way people sing the word I, which is obviously such a big word in songs. Almost every pop song that's about love as the word I in it. There's loads of examples in here. Adele would say, I heard that you settled down, or that you're settled down. But she's going settled with a duh sound, which is really American. So the R in heard is more pronounced in an American accent and the settled sounds like settled with a Duh.
