The Pros and Cons of ClosureScript

Closures and EQL both have their pros and cons. I kind of feel like, again, it's coupling the front end and the back end a bit too strongly. But in my experience, that is not a problem really for the majority of apps. For the majority of actual end users, it doesn't matter at all.
