The Promise of Salvation in the New Testament

A surprising number of the patriarchs are said to have walked with him and talked with him face to face. There is a sense though in each one of these stories whether it's Moses seeing the back of God as he walked before him or Isaiah, that Christ is seen in dazzling glory on the mount of transfiguration. It's as if what was once God's presence in cognito is now recognized personally by people who've been prepared for this. In Christ all of God's promises are yes and our men every single one of them can be seen - he has fulfilled the full reality of what he promised to his people in Christ.
