How RNA Leaves the Nucleus
In the long strands of DNA, a bunch is being made into RNA copies. And some of those copies are leaving the nucleus and turning into proteins. But why can some RNA leave and other RNA is stuck? One of the ways that it can happen is that they lose these signals that are keeping them inside the nucleus. So what we've got is a stretch of DNA that seemed for a long time like it wasn't being turned into a protein but actually was.
