McConnell's Impeachment
If McConnell had led 17 Republican senators to vote for impeachment, would it have just been another bigger hiccup that would be back where we are? I mean, there is the question of if he had been convicted in the Senate, would would he be able to run this time around? And that that's a very important question. He was not prepared to exercise that leadership to try to bring enough Republicans along to kind of, you know, finish him off and cripple Trump politically.
