The title of the book, brave new world, is sarcastic. It means that people think, on the surface, maybe it's wonderful, cause all the high tac and everything's amazing. But then when you look below, it's actually the opposite of that. John doesn't know what brave new world is like. And we're going to see later in the book his experience in brave new world will be horrible too.
