The Church Did Pretty Well in the 16th Century

I would say on the whole, the church did pretty well in those 16 centuries. I don't think it did well from Constantine to Martin Luther at all. The fact that Europe was baptized as babies gives me no assurance that it was people by born and unbelievers. We have less of those things on the books than we used to. So the argument that having them on the books seems to make no difference whatsoever to the Christianists of a society seems to be contradicted by many centuries of Christian history.
