Salesforce is cutting 10% of its staff, which surrounds 8,000 people cutting back on office space. Amazon will cut over 18,000 jobs and it hired like crazy during the pandemic. I've been a little surprised at how these companies have been shocked, shocked that things have changed for them. The media has conflated these really high flyers with the economy as a whole.
