In verse 17, he tells him, I have made you a watchman unto the house of Israel. This is a common metaphor for a prophet, is a watchman on tower. And what can a watchman do that those down below on frame of picket maintenance cannot do? They can see far off. They can give you warning. Can't you just imagine Jacob in the Book of Mormon does this? I stand up and shake my garments of your blood.
