i think it's important for this conversation is to recognize that taxes are, for many, many people, their absolute biggest expense. So we need to accurately assess what our takehome pay s. A budget is constraints. It's putting rules on how much you're going to spend in different categories. We just want an accurate picture of what your life actually costing and how much margin you have.
