The Importance of Internal Auditing

The audit committee chair is no longer going to be on the audit committee. CFO Scott Sullivan later testified in federal court that he wanted me to delay the audit and look at second quarter numbers. He was trying to take what's known and accounting as an asset impairment charge, effectively writing off all of these amounts in one fill sweep. That seems like a pretty clear example of that.
