Did She Have a Sense of the Importance of Discretion?
She was involved typing up some of the plans for d day, which she remembers really vividly. She shook joseph starling's hand, something she kept quiet in the decades afterwards,. for fear of being seen as a communist sympathizer. It's just fascinating to hear her testimony. And another great factor from joy's storyas she still has her contemporary war time diaries. So hearing her flections to day, and how they dovetail with her voice is just fascinating.
