Is the Chinese Internet Model an Attractive Model?
The chinese internet model is clearly an attractive model for leaders across developing countries, en north africa in particular. We haven't seen any wholesale reproduction of the chinese model because, as you said, that would be very difficult to do, if not impossible. So it's almost like a buffet where they're taking bits and pieces of it. But haway in particular, they operate in most countries, even up until recently, in the united states.
